Ok this one is a bit late in writing but it was a bit of a long day starting at 4am and finishing I think about 8pm when out of sheer exhaustion I fell asleep and didn't wake until 7am.

First time I've flown with easyjet and overall they get 4/5 would of been 5/5 but I've docked a point because they kept us waiting for 20mins on the stairs in the terminal when they said they were ready to board the plane the flight was good glad id paid for extra leg room.

When we arrived in Malta passport control was a breeze and baggage claim was quick but what surprised me was it was midday and it was like a ghost town until you walked out into the arrivals hall when there were people I didn't see any customs people unless the rather good looking sexy solider was but I think he was just there to stop outside people coming into baggage claims.

The transfer only had to wait about 20mins before we got on the mini bus then another 10 while the operator were deciding what to do with a disabled woman who couldn't get on didn't help even loss of hearing in my right ear the rather impatient bloke next to me muttering that it was disgusting we were having to wait for this woman if he had continued I was going to tell him to shut up anyway we ended up leaving her at the airport. Can't understand why she would of booked a shared mini bus transfer when she knows that she has trouble getting into vehicle. Took about 40mins I think to get to the hotel after dropping off at a few hotels first with one been up a very very steep hill.

I go to check in at 1:45 only to be told the room isn't ready, I thought to myself typical I work in a hotel and this happens so the very nice girl tells me where to get some lunch and after an hour I go back only to be told come back in another 15/30 mins by this time I thought great this could only happen to me I was starting to feel tired and all I wanted was to get into the room and change so I go and start sampling the cocktail menu, nice drinks but they put a bit to much alcohol in finally after a couple of drink I get my room and wow the first thing I notice is it's very nautical not to my taste and it grown a little on me then I notice the view. Worth the wait.

Anyway I still couldn't sleep so I ended up going for my evening meal at half six, which was nice few things I would change slice the beef in front of guest as it was a bit dry been sliced then left for guests, chicken tasted nice but I found it tough but the pork omg it was nice melted in your mouth cut like a dream. Lastly the deserts were nice tasting but needed to be warm.

After the meal I decided to go for one last cocktail and head to bed.

So not long now until my flight and not long until I've been up for 36 hours I'm getting so sick of not been able to sleep, I am hoping with amble curled up with me in bed it might send me sleep.

Today................... Well been back to the hospital today to have a check up kind of a waste of time, in every ok looked at the range of movement yeah everything fine don't need to see you, bye.

Slept bloody treble again I just want a nice restful sleep.

Had a nice surprise when I got into work a birthday card signed by a few people.

Wednesday 15th January 2014

It's been quite an eventful day, I think I'm starting with a bout of insomnia, I'm sick of feeling knackered putting my head on my pillow then been wide awake so I've made the decision that if my sleep doesn't improve while I'm off for 2 week I'm going to see the doctors.

Well after been up for over 24 hours again I finally managed few hours sleep before my housemate mikey took me out for a birthday drink and gave me a card and present (crap crimes), I just loved the message inside.

Please people for the sake of my sanity MY BIRTHDAY IS NOT UNTIL SUNDAY THE 19th JANUARY. stop sending me birthday wishes.

I've done it got past level 97 on jelly splash after been stuck on it for the past month, I almost deleted as my housemate mikey was saying it was easy so I said if you can complete it first time I'm going to delete jelly splash. Luckily he didn't and on my last life I was able to complete it with four moves left.

Monday 13th January 2014

Well I've had to to split from my boyfriend (he's big red and soft- My bed) to go work, again today I've not slept properly my phone hasn't helped with text going through just as I was drifting off.

Had a great email today confirmation that my holiday money has arrived at my chosen tesco store which is of great releaf after there cock up with it earlier in the week.

Sunday 12th January 2014

Well for some reason the blog didn't upload last night or I forgot to press the right button.

I've got all my documents sorted out for my holiday now, pick my money up on Wednesday so all I have to do now is pack which I will hopefully get done on Wednesday as well or Thursday morning at the latest because I'm in work Thursday night and I travel over to my mums on the friday. 

For some reason, some people can't understand why I'm not having a party for my 30th birthday, well one I don't want one, two if you want to throw me one by all means go ahead but I won't be here on the Sunday as I will be in Malta and three what is the big deal it's only another birthday, I'll soon enough be 31.

It's a Friday night and some people would prolly think I should be out drinking and partying but no tonight I have started doing my cross stitch christmas cards again. My wrist isn't 100% but I don't get the pain like I used to when I would cross stitch and I've not really touched these cards for the past year and half to two years. I can't see them been finished for this year but 2015 is a possibility.

Thursday 9th January

Well this time next week it will be my last shift before my 30th birthday and my holiday to Malta. I can't believe that I'm actually turning 30 it only seems like last year I was turning 25.

Half of me wishes I was Peter Pan and Would never grow old but the other half of me has accepted the fact I'm growing old it's just the fact that the years seem to go by so quick.

It always happens when I have a night off I don't sleep well and when I get up I can't be bothered to do much of anything, so I'm currently sat in bed starting on a box a chocolates after cooking the most boring meal off oven chips and chicken dippers. If I can pluck up the energy I might watch a movie but I will more than likely just end up going bed.

Good morning campers, went to buy some euros for my holiday this morning off tesco verified the payment then bang sorry can't proceed. So I check my bank and the bastards have taken it, well it's been authorised. So I ring tesco to see what's gone on sorry sir it's been ring fenced because it doesn't match my account details so I know have to wait for it to be released back to my account which apparently can take 2 to 10 days the bastards 

I never knew it was quicker to send post half way around the world to austrailia than it is within the uk. I posted a birthday card to my aunt on Friday and she received it today, I can't believe it.

I had a really horrible ham and pea soup from aldi tonight.

I think I'm starting to get the idea how how to do this blog start it at the end of my day or to all the normal people morning time but as I work nights, it's my evening time.

I can't believe that it's coming up to my 12th year of working night, pretty much fails on the same day as my birthday (the big 30, god I'm starting to feel old)

Well I've done my first shop in tesco since 26th December 2013 and I can't believe but at the same time not surprise that they have Easter eggs and chocolates already.

I would like to say thank you to my Auntie Sharon for the card and money I've only just got the card as I have moved house and have not given anyone my new address. I decided to spend the money this morning on a few items for myself so to show you it's going to be the pic of the day. (Big box of chocolates, a speaker for my ipad, old spice wolfthorn deodorant, slippers, jelly babies and the most important Salad cream I would of gone for Heinz but I do love aldi's own) 

Also this morning I've fixed my pc been down to scan and brought a new power supply, everything is working ok at the moment but only time will tell.

Well last entry of the morning, watched benefits street on tv tonight and I really hate when you have people crying poverty and they haven't got money to live yet they have an iphone big screen tv and can smoke normal cigs. When I was on the dole tobacco was the last thing I would consider buying and would olny buy it if I saved a few quid.

Then you had the woman justifying shoplifting, here's the low down it does hurt people because the shop cuts down on staff which result in them losing jobs and them not spending money to help the economy grow, anyway I could go on but I'm at work so will pick this up again next week.

Well tonight my pc power supply has finally given up the ghost so I'm going to have to have a walk down to scan in the morning to get it replaced so for now my pc is in bits on my bedroom floor.

Well this post is late but let me explain why..... 

Well after finishing work at 7am I started on finishing the birthday card I was making for my Auntie Malou that took me to midday, so I had to then post it and by that time I had just past the barrier of needing sleep. So I did some shopping, popped into aldi for a couple of thing then scan for a new dvd-rw as both of my old ones refuse to read any of my discs with tv/movies on, then more shops window shopping and lastly Argos to pick up a desk for my room.

Oh also forgot to mention between all this I've been having issues with my pc won't go into details but I'm sure the PSU Is goosed

By the time I had my desk set up inspected my computer it was 9pm and I really was starting to fight my bed and I wasn't up to writing this blog mind you I'm still half asleep now.

2nd January 2014

Well today I've not done much, spent much of last night designing a card for my auntie Malou's birthday which is tomorrow. Just got to complete it and post it off to Australia. This evening I've done the mopping and hoovering that I've been putting off for the last week, feel much better now as everything is clean once again.

Well I was just going to use this blog to post a picture every day of the year and compile it into a video at the end but I have decided that I'm going to use to update friends and family about what is going on with me, plus anything else that might come along.

Now where to start.... I can't believe how some parents can be so irresponsible, after just finishing my night shift it still surprises me that some parents can go out and get absolutely pissed out of their head while they have a child to look after and even though I didn't have a little girl who was no older than 7 apologising for the state of her mum like last year, I did have a boy about 11 looking very embarrassed about the state of his mum who could hardly stand up and had to be helped into the hotel and back to the room by the lad.

And it wouldn't be a New Year's Eve shift without some one kicking up a fuss as I was checking the rooms and names of all the guests coming in so that we didn't have people trying to sneak people back into the hotel, I get these two women or more appropriately 1 woman and a nasty little gremlin. Giving me a room number of a guest that had already come back and I had to confirm because it belonged to the boy and his mum I've told you about, so alarm bells start ringing so I asked if they had a key, wow you would of thought that world war 3 and kicked off because the gremlin started to call me a liar because I was questioning them that there can't be 3 adults and a child in the room I only had 3 people down to be in there and just my luck the gremlins family/friends/whatever else (could describe them as something else but that would be going into murky waters) were all in reception so they just had to put their 2cents in to. In the end because there were so many of these people staying she went into another room which isn't ideal but it was the only way to calm the situation down.

Management really don't know what it's like on night shift on NYE.

Oh I can't forget the 27 year old lad so pissed out of his head and throwing up what the girlfriend thought was blood that she called 999 and taking the paramedic upto the room to find her in tears and the lad passed out on the floor next to the bed butt naked. The look on the paramedics face was one of a pissed of person, can tell that the lad had drunk to much and that it was one of the many pissed up waste of time call outs. Turns out that there was no blood in the vomit, all his stats were normal just very intoxicated and really needed to be in hospital to get fluids into him be the lad refused to go.

Overall the night was quiet once all that was out the way but it does make you look at people in a different light.

Now this year I plan on wishing friend and families a happy birthday and also keeping in touch with you as I have got ton very lax with it over the the years, which I will more than likely explain later on in the year, so I would like it if you could all send me your address and birthdays.
